Workshop 1: Basics of Home Recording July 28 | 6:00–7:30 PM Want to record your music? Whether you're writing original songs or preparing for auditions, professional recordings can be made right at home—no fancy studio required! This workshop covers: A brief history of recording (1800s–present) The essential gear for a home studio Pro tips for achieving great sound Learn how top artists are using "bedroom studios" to make hits—and how you can too. Come with curiosity and leave with the confidence to start recording!

Workshop 2: Intro to Improvisation August 4 | 6:00–7:30 PM Improvisation is at the heart of Blues, Jazz, and Rock—and it's more approachable than you think! What you'll learn: Basic scales used in improvisation How to improvise over backing tracks Techniques from famous improvisers If you can play a scale—or even a few notes—you're ready to start. This is a hands-on class for beginners ready to explore their creative side.

Workshop 3: Electronic Effects Violin August 11 | 6:00–7:30 PM Step into the exciting world of electric violins—like Lindsey Stirling or Mia Asano! What you'll explore: Types of electric violins and how they work How to use effects and pedals Getting started with gear A chance to try an electric violin yourself! This beginner-friendly session breaks down the barriers and helps you discover new sounds and possibilities.
