SAM Alive with music education

At Seacoast Academy of Music we've spent more than fifteen years spreading our knowledge and love of music to students of all ages with dedication, integrity, and professionalism. Many of our graduates have become life-long musicians; some are engaged as career performers, arrangers, or music teachers and some are members of their community choruses, bands and orchestras. We are proud to offer a wide variety of programs to suit the diverse and unique needs of each and every student who passes through our doors and our mission remains, as always, Music Lessons for Everyone.

Greetings to all who visit our website!

Take a look around and perhaps you may find that certain musical instrument you always wanted to play. How about enrolling your favorite 4-year-old into a Suzuki String class? Maybe you would like to jam with a jazz band or strum along with a community ukulele group? Need a bit of coaching to ace that upcoming audition? Can you see your children forming the next great family band? Imagine the thrill of hearing your child perform a Beethoven Sonata! Or maybe you just love the energy that live music brings into you home?

As we enter our 17th year of sharing musical knowledge, passion and love with our friends and neighbors in the New Hampshire Seacoast where SAM is Alive with Music Education, we remain musically yours,

C. Christine Petrucci

What our students say

At Seacoast Academy of Music, you get the fine dining experience. You get teachers who are passionate about their craft and have a strong commitment to fundamentals. At other music schools, you get the fast food approach. Your hunger gets satisfied but the quality isn’t there. The difference is profound.

I want to give a big thumbs up to Seacoast Academy of Music. I’ve been taking piano lessons from Christine Petrucci for five years. Besides providing enthusiastic and motivating lessons, SAM has also held piano workshops, guest pianist recitals, and master classes. And while I am most familiar with the piano program, I know that the school hosts a vibrant string program as well as brass, woodwind, guitar, ukulele, and voice lessons. The teachers are top notch with either extensive education or real world performing experience. The musical experiences found at SAM are unequaled on the Seacoast. I give SAM a five star rating.

Father of 3 Students

My kids have played music at different music schools, but at SAM, with their excellent teachers and music methods, they have really propelled their music skills and ability. My kids play with confidence and are aware of what is needed to continue to improve. In my perspective. I would recommend SAM to any parent wishing for their kids to become great music players.

The Ryan-Riopel Family

This is our second round with Seacoast Academy of Music. Our kids are 14 years apart so we were here in the early days of SAM with our eldest, whose strong foundation in music we attribute to his early piano studies with Christine. He plays 5 instruments and as a drummer in high school who could read music, he became the drumline leader in the competitive marching band, and competed nationally and in world championships on the classical concert snare in a percussion ensemble. Our daughter, currently in piano lessons, is gaining a solid foundation in theory and performance. Christine runs a professional school with lofty standards and attracts top-notch, talented staff to teach all instruments. We adore Seacoast Academy of Music and are long-time believers in its magic.
