The Acoustic Roots Orchestra is a great opportunity for school-aged musicians in grades 3-12 to play music together. This group is an affiliate of the New England Fiddle Ensemble and is open to students of any experience level on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, cello, viola, guitar, and more. Students will learn different kinds of music by ear in rehearsals each week and perform together in a final concert. ARO members will explore roots music genres including country, bluegrass, Western swing, old-time, Cajun, Celtic rock, and more! Members will also be eligible to join in on New England Fiddle Ensemble rehearsals and performances.
