Voice Teacher/Department Chair
Seacoast Academy of Music, established in 2001, is a private school of music located in North Hampton, NH.
The above position is available immediately. We have an existing voice program and are filling a vacancy. In addition we are seeking a vocal instructor who will teach students of various levels and also chair the department by hiring and managing additional staff as needed, prepare students for performances and generally grow the voice department.
We are seeking an applicant who is professional, dedicated and committed to setting up a music studio as part of the Seacoast Academy of Music faculty. Candidate should be willing to share musical and/or teaching talents with other faculty members and the community through student recitals, faculty recitals, professional collaborations and workshops throughout the school year.
Qualifications: Applicant should be knowledgeable of and experienced with various appropriate teaching methods and techniques. Enthusiasm for teaching with an organized, productive and positive approach is a must. Music teaching experience is required as is a music degree for all teachers of intermediate and beyond students. Performance abilities will also be considered.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and comparative positions.
